WHO I AM
Born and raised in small town PA, I enjoy exploring the world and trying new things. Until age 21, I'd never left a 5 state radius. So I made it my mission to travel as much as possible.
Fun fact: I was the first girl in my family to go to college. I attended Penn State University, where I studied Foreign Language and International Business. During school, I traveled to Montpellier, France, to further my studies in French and Arabic at Université Paul-Valéry.
In February, 2014, I joined the Cengage team in Boston, and moved to Southern California in February, 2016.
It's no secret that I have a passion for education. From personal tutor, to study abroad adviser, to student teacher, to learning consultant, to Customer Success Manager, I have always been focused on connecting students with tools and knowledge to improve their educational experience. At Cengage, I help instructors leverage technology solutions to improve learning outcomes by engaging students in the material.

WHAT I'VE DONE
Why Digital? Why now? I believe that the most important thing we can do to ensure a solid future is to invest in education. I want to see students graduate college with the knowledge and experience to start successful careers in their respective fields.
People are innately curious. But years of boring textbooks and standardized testing has shown students that they won't find what they want to learn in school. So let's change that. By meeting students where they are, using innovative materials to engage them, you can inspire your classes to uncover not only new ideas, but new potential they never realized existed. And isn't that ultimately what you want?
WHAT I DO
I love exploring! Our latest adventure: Potato Chip Rock in Ramona, CA on the way to San Diego! (It's not as unstable as it looks, I swear.)
I live on the West Side of LA and I spend as much time on the beach as possible! Evening runs, beach volleyball, and sunset yoga are some of my favorite activities.
When you live far away, it's important to keep in touch with friends. Annual high school girls' weekend hiking in Vail! Yes, we used a selfie stick...
I run, I hike, I swim - anything to be outdoors! And I LOVE yoga. Somehow I managed crow pose on a paddle board without falling into the marina!
Nothing is more important than family. Watching my younger brother, Seth, grow into the man he is makes me so proud. His story is a perfect example of how all it takes is one person to make a difference. Ask me sometime how a college professor changed his life.

Taken at the original Ben and Jerry's factory in Burlington, VT! I absolutely love their business model. Did you know they learned to make ice cream at PSU?
I learned to snowboard! We celebrated with a trip to Killington, VT. I'm still not the greatest, but the experience was so much fun.
After 7 years away, I decided it was time to take a trip back to Europe. This time I fell in love with Budapest, Hungary. I might have to move again...
